To meet USDA natural standards, the Mrs. Pork, local family pork producers must adhere to the strict current production guidelines for all federally inspected pork as defined by FDA to prevent violative animal health product tissue residues. The Mrs. Pork family pork producers are trained in Pork Quality Assurance (PQA) and certified by the National Pork Producers Assn.

Mrs. Pork meat is processed in compliance with natural processing, handling and labeling standards according to the USDA. Hormones are not allowed in raising and production of MRS Pork hogs. “Federal regulations prohibit the use of hormones.” Mrs. Pork “High Health Herd Status” production animals are raised on bio-secure local family farms. Verified healthy production animals add to the quality assurance of the pork products carrying the “Mrs. Pork” label. The Mrs. Pork system is a network of 8 family farms producing high health animals for the newly constructed plant in Glencoe, MN.

All Mrs.Pork products are certified and labeled as “Certified Duroc™ Pork”  by the Certified Duroc Pork Association.  The Duroc sires used on the herds are of world class quality producing absolutely the highest quality meat product in regards to marbling and taste. We believe the freshness of the product also adds greatly to the taste. Production records verifying this statement are retained for 6 years in the MRS offices.
